Analytics is everybody who clicks on page. Webmaster tools is anybody who searches google, finds my page and then clicks on it.

Sitemap

I added the sitemap link and pushed it up to GitHub. However, it did not seem to work.

Updated spellings

Updated spellings and put links to my site on Twitter and LinkedIn today also.

Successfully updated GitHub

I successfully updated GitHub with my new content. I needed to enter new password into the terminal in and push the changes up. After a few tries I succeeded and my website has now updated.

Content changes

I made some content changes. I just wanted to pad it out a bit with the writing. I changed my GitHub password and this is affecting how I make changes to the GitHub repository.

Webmaster link to site

I successfully added the Webmaster link to the SEO site on GitHib. I committed changes to GitHub and verified the link. At least now I have this up and running so I can concentrate on getting to grips with SEO.

SEO site

I have created my website. I am happy with it. It's basically an intro into Creative Multimedia Programming Higher Diploma. It runs through the different modules. This is something I would have liked to see before undertaking the course. I will put the pages up on GitHub and then attach the Google Analytics link to it. My site is also responsive so it can be viewed on mobile also. I feel that this is important in 2017 when everybody has a smartphone. All of the content is my own. John has mentioned that this is good as Google will recognize and promote this.

Search Engine Optimisation

Starting my SEO project today. Concentrating on getting it online as quickly as possible. Will create a basic page with information on Creative Multimedia Programming and then put it on GitHub pages.
